Dear Coaches and Friends of CCNet,

At CCNet we come together approximately every two years to connect, share innovations, sharpen our skills, and uplift our spirits to support conservation practitioners to do better, smarter conservation all around the world.  With the generous support from our community members from around the world, this year we are hosting our first digital version of a CCNet Rally, with a series of virtual training sessions and other opportunities for CCNet participants, members of the Conservation Measures Partnership  and friends.

In our free online event, we welcome conservation practitioners from around the world who are familiar with the Conservation Standards.

The event will take place from November 3 to November 12, 2021, including plenary events and interactive sessions, which will be offered in different time zones around the world. All activities will be in English, and we will provide translation services in some events. While activities are confirmed, some changes are still possible. Latest versions of the agenda and other relevant event information will be posted here.

Events will be offered in the following time zone groupings, using UTC/GWT as a main reference.

While there is no general event registration, you will need to register for individual sessions, on Zoom. We will open registration to specific activities during the week of October 11, 2021.

Rally Goals

At our online Rally, collectively we intend to reach these goals:

  • All participants will feel welcomed, connected, engaged and inspired to actively contribute and collectively celebrate our community.
  • All participants will hone existing skills and will learn new ones, and will understand what resources are available to coach real world projects and programs in digital or hybrid settings.

Rally Program

During the Rally you will be able to choose sessions which will cover a range of core and advanced skills in topics that were identified in a survey we conducted, and honouring interests expressed by community members, we are offering sessions in the following five tracks:
